Explanation of Fees

Reposession

is the collection of collateral after default of payment or breach of contract

Involutnary

When the debtor is not willingly giving the collateral back to you, the lien holder.  This fee usually includes direct delivery to the local auction or a local drop location of your choosing

Voluntary

When the debtor is making ever effort to return the collateral.  We have contact with the debtor and they are available to meet with an agent to turn over the collateral and keys . This fee usually includes direct delivery to the local auction or a local drop location of your choosing

GPS

If the unit has a functioning GPS on it and we have access, we can track your collateral and get it picked up quickly.  Depending on the location, GPS units are sometimes cheaper to pick up than others because we don't have to spend so much time and resources hunting

Impound

When the unit has been impounded and we have to make arrangements with the impounding company to retrieve the collateral.  The lien holder will be billed for the impound fees once the unit is recovered

Military Base

Collateral being on a military base adds a different kind of wrinkle.  All military bases require absolute proof of ownership, the sales contract, payments made/missed and our repo file but if the base houses nukes the list gets longer as done the waiting period for authorization to access the base.   Depending on the type of base, it could be 24hrs or it could be 14 - 30 days before we get authorization so patience is key with these units

Field Services

anything an agent does to find and make contact with the debtor but not collect the collateral

Door Knock

Our agents can go knock your customers door to encourage they make contact and/or payment with you, the lien holder

Spotter

We have a spotter car driving in a grid pattern all over the area daily and uploaded to DRN

DRN

The cameras on our repo trucks and our spotter car take snapshots and record the location of each license plate scanned.  That information is uploaded to DRN which is basically a giant database of vehicles and their locations that are used by many repo companies nationwide.  Once a license plate is in the system, any time it is out for repossession there is the option to purchase the information if it's from another company or it is immediately available for use if our cameras hit the plate

Office Services

anything the office staff does to locate collateral

DOL Check

The first thing our office staff does when inputting a vehicle is run it though WA DOL to

  1. Check the name and address of the debtor
  2. Check for lien sales
  3. Check to make sure you, the lien holder, are still in fact the legal owner according to the state of WA

Skip Tracing

We have a team with full access to all things internet and a top of the line skip tracing software.  Some people can be found through a simple online or social media search but most delinquent debtors require a more in depth search

DRN

The cameras on our repo trucks and our spotter car take snapshots and record the location of each license plate scanned.  That information is uploaded to DRN which is basically a giant database of vehicles and their locations that are used by many repo companies nationwide.  Once a license plate is in the system, any time it is out for repossession there is the option to purchase the information if it's from another company or it is immediately available for use if your cameras hit the plate

Other Fees/Services

anything else we do

Picture and Condition Report

You will get one of these if you do not want the totaled units repossessed.  We will take pictures of the unit and the damage then fill out a condition report so you can complete the file on your end

Close Fees

A fee charged when the lien holder closes a file after we have begun working it

Positive Resolution

Positive Resolution is when we have made contact by phone or in person with the debtor then they returned the collateral to you or made a payment

Mileage

Mileage fees will vary based on distance.  There are no mileage fees for our "local" area which includes all of Pierce County and parts of both King and Thurston Counties

Delivery / Transport

Fees charged when we have to rehook a vehicle to make delivery to a secondary drop location

Tolls / Ferries

There are some areas in the State of Washington that you can not get to without paying a toll of taking a ferry

Storage Fee

The daily fee for storing your collateral at our yard

Keys

We have a guy! We can get most keys cut and programmed without the unit leaving our yard.  For the few specialty keys that require a dealer, we can tow the unit to the dealer to get the key cut and programmed

Redemption

You, the lienholder, can redeem your collateral from us without an extra fee.  If the debtor is retrieving the unit, they will be required to pay a redemption fee

Personals

Personal property will be cleaned from each unit before it is delivered to the requested drop location.  Personal property is held in our possession until the debtor comes in to pick it up or 30 calendar days have passed.  At 31 calendar days, the property is destroyed

Auction

We are fully licensed to auction off your collateral here at our yard

If you are looking for something not on the list of services, give us a call and we'll see what we can do to help!!
